Meet at Stone Galleon, 234 Bradford Street B12 0NF Ends at BM&G, Chamberlain Square B3 3DH

A meditation on the surviving slivers and vestiges of archaeological evidence in familiar streets that tell an intriguing, if nearly invisible, Birmingham story—a city noted for its frequent and careless losses. Expect to encounter remnants of signs, design details, decorative features, pubs, shops, manufactured goods and, of course, Duran Duran. While navigating several distinctly non-tourist side streets, participants are encouraged to observe closely to work loose the hesitant stories hidden within.

This walk borrows its name from Catherine O'Flynn's 2007 novel.
